How to reach

Fly direct to Leh (Kushok Bakula Rimpochee airport), or drive in via the Srinagar–Leh or Manali–Leh highways (summer only). Inner Line Permits are needed for Nubra, Pangong, Tso Moriri and Dah-Hanu.

Things to do & travel tips

  • Spend the first 2 days resting in Leh to acclimatise before going high.
  • Carry Inner Line Permits + ID for Nubra/Pangong/Tso Moriri.
  • Carry cash; ATMs are limited outside Leh.
