About this trek

Dayara Bugyal is a vast, gently rolling alpine meadow at around 3,408 m, regarded as one of the finest grasslands in the country. In summer it is a green carpet dotted with flowers; in winter it becomes a wide, gentle snow field perfect for beginners.

The short, scenic climb from Barsu or Raithal through oak and maple forest opens to 360° views of Bandarpoonch, Black Peak and the Gangotri group. It is an easy, family-friendly Himalayan trek.
