About this trek

Nag Tibba, the “Serpent’s Peak”, is the highest point in the lower Garhwal at about 3,022 m and the go-to weekend trek from Delhi and Dehradun. A short climb through oak and rhododendron forest reaches the summit, named for the Nag Devta temple along the way.

It is an ideal first Himalayan trek and a wonderful introduction to snow in winter, with panoramic views of Bandarpoonch, Swargarohini, Gangotri and Kedarnath peaks from the top.
