About this trek

The Pindari Glacier trek is one of the oldest and most loved treks in Kumaon, leading to the snout of the Pindari Glacier โ€” “Zero Point” โ€” at about 3,660 m, framed by Nanda Khat and Changuch. The well-trodden trail from Loharkhet passes the lovely village of Khati.

Through forest, terraced fields and the Pindar river gorge, it is a moderate trek that beginners can manage with reasonable fitness, and pairs naturally with the Kafni Glacier extension.
