About this trek

The Beas Kund trek climbs from the Solang valley near Manali to a sacred glacial lake at about 3,700 m β€” the source of the Beas river. The trail passes the meadows of Dhundi and Bakarthach, with the dramatic faces of Hanuman Tibba, Friendship Peak and Seven Sisters rising all around.

It is a popular 2–3 day acclimatisation and mountaineering-base trek, moderate in difficulty, and a superb introduction to high-Himalayan scenery within easy reach of Manali.
