- Nearest railway station Pathankot is the nearest railhead (long road beyond).
- Bus & road hub Summer Chamba-Killar buses via Sach Pass, or via Kishtwar (J&K).
- Taxis & local transport Taxis from Chamba; a 4x4 is wise for the pass.
- Road access & best route Via Sach Pass (~4,420 m), open only ~Jun-Oct; one of HP's remotest valleys.

- Open only in summer - Sach Pass is snow-blocked the rest of the year.
